Select Data has provided compliant clinical and revenue cycle solutions for the home health and hospice community for over 20 years. Originally operating as a multi site home health provider, the owner/leader realized the need to consolidate tasks further and streamline compliant workflow processes throughout the company. This expectation could not be achieved even using what was thought to be the best software applications of the time, leading to the creation of a fully integrated clinical and business operating system called Select Data, a synthesis of practical, compliant, innovative software and services. While originally developed for internal use to automate and consolidate time consuming manual processes and create efficiencies for personnel, the SmartAgency ™ platform met this need, optimizing the day to day operations by building in workflow and compliance checks into the system.
Select Data began offering the SmartAgency ™ platform externally when asked, initially, by hospital based agencies seeking revenue cycle operational efficiencies. They and later, a large number of community based agencies integrated these crucial workflow tools into their systems, achieving the desired clinical and back office levels of workflow efficiencies and compliance standards.
Select Data consistently innovates the marketplace: The SmartAgency ™ platform integrates the automated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) of SmartScribe EMR™, the compliance and billing functionality of SelectAgency Manager™, the coding expertise of MasterCoding™. the paperless chart in MasterCoding™ and the automated order tracking SmartOrders™, allowing agencies to operate in a fully automated and compliant workflow driven environment.
